Food squeezer for wet food pouches

Gets the rest out of the pouch without half of it ending up on your finger.

Material
PLA+ oder PETG
Layer height
0,16 mm
Print time
39–52 min

Wet food pouches don't give up everything. What stays inside you fish out with a finger — and afterwards more of it sticks to the finger than lands in the bowl.

So: a scraper. No threading, no fiddling. Press it into the side of the pouch, pull up towards the opening, done. If the bottom seam is double thick, give it a gentle squeeze.

Why it looks the way it does

The thumb recess on top isn't decoration. Without it you slip the moment there's food on your fingers — which is the normal case.

The slot is rounded all the way around. A sharp edge eventually cuts the pouch open, and then you have the opposite of what you wanted.

It's thicker than it needs to be. That's the one thing people ask about, and the answer is in the early prototypes: the lower part tore off when it got wedged. Since it got thicker, never again. Material is cheaper than a second print.

Printing

PLA+ and PETG both work. My favourite is PLA+ on a smooth plate.

Ready-made print profiles come with the MakerWorld download. The settings there aren't the defaults: among other things a slower outer wall, because the result is visibly cleaner that way.

Print it, change it

The model is free. Improve it if you like — optimised profiles have already come back from the community, and that's exactly why it's up there.
